Pioneer DDJ-S1 Controller. Anyone used one?

I would personally rather use turntables and vinyl, but we also have to consider portability. We are limited for space at the studio too, 2 turntables really have nowhere to go.
He has no background in vinyl either. I will also be using it, and teaching him what I know.
After weighing it all up I think this might be the way to go. We can just go to wherever we are playing and just plug in and go, 1 controller, 1 laptop and thats it.
I was hoping someone had used one and could tell me how it feels.
Im going to go and test it when he buys it and get a feel for it myself.
Also its £900 which is the cost of just one CDJ, and with the price of 1200/1210's going through the roof, I dunno, on the face of it, it seems really worth it.

I have DDJ-T and I combine it with F1 & Maschine ( rewire wit Ableton) when I'm Dj'ing. Pioneer has great sound compared with other turntables. Why you don't try to use Traktor Scratch Pro it's much cheaper and has more fx. I tried most of the DJ softwares and for me was Traktor the best.
