Here's a cool piece of music theory. Actually Phi ( "fee") extends to basically every part of life.

This is a good quote from the page:

"Musical compositions often reflect Fibonacci numbers and phi
Fibonacci and phi relationships are often found in the timing of musical compositions. As an example, the climax of songs is often found at roughly the phi point (61.8%) of the song, as opposed to the middle or end of the song. In a 32 bar song, this would occur in the 20th bar."

I wonder if this really works as it says; Does it work in Hip Hop?

Check out some of the other links.

8 bars for intro
16 bars for 1st
8 bars for 1st chorus
16 bars again...
8 bars for chorus again
8 bars for the hook <--- I guess that's where the climax is
8 bars again for another chorus...
8 bars for the end... fading

that's 80 bars total...

phi = 1,61803

So the "phi point should be at 61.8%, so the climax would be around the 50th bar... (49,443 to be more presice) so that would be just after the 2nd chorus... right in the hook...

So I guess it's true...

Sorry, I couldn't help it.. force of habit...

its all true...

its all about that PI shit...

Basically God is giving us a signal that life right now is not absolutely perfect... not exactly black and white... tellin us that u gotta mix it up, and do YOU...

Thats why people been discussing lately about stuff like putting swing on drums...

Makin it not so perfect... I almost always put effects on my beats to distort them somehow...

I heard this one time "Whenever you find a pattern, switch it up"...

But I also heard "Go with the flow" ...

Bottom line : Who knows?
