I'm copping after work. I saw it there last week at the record store.


I was supposed to open up for this head when he's due to come out here, but my group completely fell out with some drama.

I guess he was a punk rocker and somehow got into Hip Hop.

He's the frontman for Doomtree which is a punk/experimental band. Howeve, the dude has always been doing hip-hop on the side. He's a black guy too, so breaks the stereotype totally. But the album came out yesterday (1/31). Its awesome man. This is not street shit or anything like that. Very conscious, political, emotional, and personally driven hip-hop. Very good though and an awesome display what real instruments/real musicians can do for beats.

Between him being black and Brother Ali being white...and me being both I'm confused.


rhymesayers has a real dope roster regardless.

I have the last album that they dropped.....POS is pretty cool, after a while though they tend to get kinda annoying if you bump that shit too often. That fool Lazerbeak is fresh with the beats though fo sho.
