Ok people i need some help.

The Setup I Got..

-FL Studio 5.0
-Cool Edit Pro 2.0

Alright, i have the basic idea of how to use fruityloop's, i can produce the basic drum beat and such, but where im stuck at is sampling and such. I just don't really know how to do it, like when i heard Camron - the roc, i wanted to know how the hell Just blaze got that sound from another track and such, and how to do the same sorta thing but in fruityloops if you understand me.

I know alot of people hate fruityloops, but at the end of the day in its rawest form, brilliant things can be made from this program.

I just hope someone can help explain to me the basics of sampling with these programs and how to set it all up in fruity and such.

well there is no Special skill u need to sample... you just find what u want. Sample it and use it.. no rule do whatever u want to it modulate chop it up.. use the raw loop.. make it into a Synth.. no rules be creative... Learn / read what toyr Tools do...because there can be a Sample playing with a Bass and u can Damn near Isolate the Bass Cut it off and be left with that sample u wanted.. depending how the thng was mixed and how clean it is

most just loop 1-4 bar samples with a little beat over it and theres nothing special about that. try to cut up samples from the left and right channels and save them in mono. adding effects to them will create your own space in stereo. try goldwave for free and see if it makes chopping samples any easier. you can also get something a little more costly to speed up the chopping process with recycle. there is a chop program in FL studio but i dont seem to care for it.

since you can make basic drum patterns with ease, using multiple chopped up samples should come easy for you. dont get lazy and just loop one dope sample. cut up a bunch of samples to create your own melody.
