Welp, lets start the story off like this..
When I first started adv. my company in this town, I put flyers everywhere. In barbershops, bars, etc. not honestly thinking they'd get any play at all right.. so about 2months after i put them up, I got a call yesterday. This dude calls says he wants to know how much my beats are and if he can hear some over the phone before he buys. So, of course I let him hear a few, and automatically he likes the first one I played. He asked how much that one beat was, I told him $95 he's like "that's nice, can I come over to talk some business?" Of course I told him where to meet me and I'd walk him down to my house, so we setup a meeting spot at the barber shop @ 3PM. We met, and I swear on my life this dude has GOLD fronts(teeth), and a set of GOLD FANGS with diamonds!!!! I shit you not, this was one 'thuggish' looking dude, none of the less we came to my house, sat down and talked business. So, I played a few beats out of my catalog for him, He said that he only wanted 2 for right now, and on firday he would come back with about $600 all for beats, and would keep coming back when he needed beats. So, he picked to out and I racked in a good $170 for 2 beats, in about 20mins. So, now were getting to the point.. here's where my headache starts in, to 'celerbrate' I went down to the liqure store and baught a bottle of Hypnotiq, Hennesey, 2 bottle of Arbor Mist, and 3 bottles of Asti Spumante(champagne) and a $40 bag. I drank about a bottle of Spumante, and a bottle of Hypnotiq to myself, and now oh wow my fucking head hurts i really hate hangovers..
sorry, i had to share this with ya'll, ya'll are my fam. I figured I'd share my 'big' story of suscess. now it's all uphill from here, jus word of mouth, and plenty of flyers.
