Newbie Question

[Hi-Def]

i make all of my music from scratch using reason 3 and fl studio.
i have always wanted to get into sampling music and what not, but i just don't know where to look or what to do.
some tips would be greatly appreciated to help me start out.

try and get some clasical muzik and chop intro and apply in your beats.
What i do is i have a collection of hindi muzik almost 10 gigz which have breaks and nice intro to chops

any kind of music is cool.
I like usin old skool crooner stuff like dean martin etc.
And if you can use a turn table 2 sample cuz i think you'll get more life
from it.
if you wan drum samples go old skool blues and 60's stuff.

i suggest getting a program like Cool edit or Adobe audition to chop samples with accurately. Or using the Fl slicer to chop music. Chop on a 4 count until you get good at it and....just practice...
