No one here in the EU was stupid enough to have it forced upon us here, but yet here we are in the EU, with European constitution that they are trying to ram down our throats.
We were tricked into it in the name of a free trade agreement.
Which is exactly the same way the NAFTA(North American Free Trade Agreement) is panning out.
You dont have to believe me or anyone else on the subject, but being as I have lived through a transfer of sovereign power to a central powerbase, I wouldnt be so quick to say its not going to happen.
The plans were written a long time ago, its only because its so extreme and unacceptable to most people that its taking time to get through, but they are without any shadow of a doubt pushing this shit through.

But that doesnt mean we aint going to, its just too unpopular right now.

We have to live by EU law here in the UK too. We also plough billions into it so small countries like Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Albania, etc etc can benefit and their citizens freely move within the EU and work, and they generally flock to the richer nations, like France, Germany and England, as the pay and conditions are vastly greater, this burdens the welfare states of the richer nations, stretches housing, schooling and healthcare to its limits. Costs the taxpayers an absolute fortune and slowly reduces the wealth of the richer nations till eventually we are all broken and financial slaves. Which with the "credit crunch" is where we are rapidly headed right now.

The centralisation of power is the last thing the world needs. Because people are corrupt, especially those that seek positions of power. There is no human being that can be trusted not to be corrupted by such great power.
As is evident with all the corruption scandals of Brussels, and also our own government here, lining their pockets with taxpayers money. power+people=corruption Theres no escaping it.

I have heard journalists now wondering WHY people arent going nuts over this economy thing?
Saying that in the past it would have le to riots, this is a good question..Maybe its in the food or something, but I think there is a what the hell are we supposed to do about it feeling.

Because we're too worried about what happens in the home than anything else....The people have been distracted with technology. With technology, the powers that be can seemingly hypnotize people into NOT looking @ the big picture but rather the one on your television, computer, etc. And it will get worse, the powers will make it so the people would have to become completely dependable on the government(s). This way they can enact laws/policies that will eventually remove all of our "civil" and/or "human rights"



Of course I quotated those because we really DON'T have rights...and don't think for a second that they can't be taken away...REGARDLESS of what's going on in the world...When people say "I know my rights", it makes me laugh...Those rights are a privilege because they can be taken away.
