The lamb is crazy but its just for looks, the veyron is for speed but its just for 0-60. The REAL beast in exotic cars is the Twin Turbo Hennessey Venom Viper. Peep the specs on that monster!

Spec-wise, it's a monster, but it's still a Dodge. There's little prestige in owning a Dodge, no matter how fast it is. There's prestige, a heritage in owning Lamborghini, Ferrari, Lotus, Porsche, DeTomaso, Maserati, Jaguar, et-al. These brands have racing histories that American nameplates (except the Ford/AC Cobra, GT-40, and Corvette) simply don't have. Most American cars are known for straight line performance, not ruling tracks like Watkins Glen, Nuremberg or running the 24 hours of Le Mans.

I mean... With the Hennessey, they took a fast american sub-exotic and made it much faster, but the same can be done to a Pontiac GTO (there's a 192MPH GTO floating around), Trans Am, or Fiero (A 400+HP V8 powered Fiero is a terror!). A Buick GNX can be coaxed even faster than the 5.3sec 0-60/13.3sec 1/4 mile times, but would you desire one more than a slightly slower Ferrari 328GTB of the same vintage? No, you wouldn't.

Yeah its just a Dodge, I agree with that...I also agree with there are 200mph regular cars like the ones you named but here's the deal...the prestige part of it being just a dodge is the name in front of it, Hennessey, that makes it a "special" Dodge. It's also a full production car which makes it different than a 200 mph fiero...lol. There are also "special" porches, "special" lambo's, "special "ferrari's, "special" Mercedes, and so on (all of which were exotics "made faster" by someone else). To a person that owns a 1.5 million dollar or higher car, a lambo is just a lambo...lol. To some people, a Pontiac Ram Air T/A is the ish. So it's a matter of opinion and status. I never said that the Hennessey was the most prestigeous car, I just said it was faster, which is true. If I had to choose a prestigeous car, it wouldn't be a Venom, nor a Bugatti Veyron as a 1st choice, I'm not 100% sure what I would pick but if I could afford one of them, then I could afford to buy several, which is what I'd most certianly do. Don't get me wrong, I really do feel what you're saying, I just feel like some of your comments were made to support your opinion which is cool to.

^^^ I think Koncept G got some exotic whips yall... he just ain't saying nothing...

hehe... not yet, but soon though. If I find the right car(s), by next summer.

The flip side to that is that I wanted to design cars when I was younger, so I studied the cars of my era (70's and 80's) and the history of many marquees.

There's a few cars from the 70's that grabbed my attention, most noteably the Maserati Merak, Lamborghini Silhouette, Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer, and DeTomaso Pantera as they all employed very similar, yet distinctive styling (The BMW M1 also fits into that category, as does the Silhouette based Lamborghini Jalpa).

From the late 70's to early 80's, The Vector W2, which would become the W8, the Ferrari Mondial, Porsche 928, and (oddly) the Pontiac Fiero. The Fiero, IMO, was GM's best looking car during it's run in the 80's. It had the sub-exotic look, but sadly had crap motor selections and a nasty suspension (which was changed in '88). I did like the Countach, but that's a given, who DIDN'T like it?

Mid to late 80's for me was all about the redesigned Lotus Esprit Turbo SE. That car had the cleanest lines I've ever laid eyes on.

There were a number of other cars that I loved for their execution like the Zender Fact-4, Alfa Romeo SZ (designed by Zagato), and Peugeot Oxia and I had a wierd attraction to the Isdera Imperator (it's actually a fairly ugly car).

You mentioned one of my all time favorites, the 1994 DeThomaso Pantera. A car that still looks good even 13 yrs later! Visually waaaaay ahead of it's time.

Kinda like how Tommy Hil said he didn't make his clothes for black people and how Crystal fronted on hip hop leading to JayZ Boycotting it.

The Tommy Hilfiger thing is a false rumor. His son's best friend is some ignorant black rapper named Freck Billionaire.

^^^ Thanks for setting me straight. Don't wanna be running around spreading fake truths...

No problem. I wear a lot of Tommy ish, a couple heads let me in on that rumor.... I checked into it, cause Tommy's sh!t fits me real good, and found out it was not true. Which I figured... he was one of the first designers around to embrace hip hop, actually released a mixtape that had Mobb Deep on it.
