Actually, it is the Gallardo, spec wise. This is just a COLLECTORS edition. it doesn't go any faster than the gallardo but they had to make a special edition for the rish clientele. All of the high end companies are doing this. Reason being is if a rap artist can get what you got you ain't that elite. So you have to get something a guy like Ludacris can't get... like a 1.4 million lambo.
Ya'll know about how McLaren got mad at Wyclef because of all the crazy shit he did to his F1's right? It was already a million dollar car and then he bought two and gold plated the engine on one of them and then put two more seats in the other one so chicks could ride with him. They wont let him buy anymore cars.
Kinda like how Tommy Hil said he didn't make his clothes for black people and how Crystal fronted on hip hop leading to JayZ Boycotting it.
I think it is dumb ass hell. That car is dope but I would just get a regular gallardo and then get it pimped out. Or just buy a Ferrari instead.

The Mclaren F1 had 3 seats when they came from the factory. The driver sits centrally and the two passengers are on either side of the driver, but back a bit. When the cars were certified for the U.S., McLaren was required to remove those seats. Wyclef merely restored the car to it's original design.
The gold shit... If he really did it, that's just being fuckin' ghetto on Wyclef's part.
Thing is about these super-exotics like this Lambo, Veryon, F1, and Zonda is that quite a few rappers CAN afford them, but they don't know what it meands to have a car with that kind of heritage. They don't appreciate it, they just buy it 'cause it's expensive so they can floss it like "look what I got beeyotchez!!!".
True collectors can appreciate exotic cars. Generally speaking, rappers do not.

I didn't know they had three seats originally. I knew about sitting in the middle of the car like a jet cockpit though. Only reason I knew about the gold plating this was Funk Flex has this annual car contest or something for charity and I guess no one can come close to Wyclef because his pockets were deep enough to get a million dollar whip and then ghettofy them. Busta was the only person who came close to Clef in the competition. next up was Baby of Cash Money but there were still like a million off because they just had Hummers and stuff.

I remember hearing Wyclef talk about a short conversation between himself and Jay Leno not long after Clef got his first McLaren. They were talking cars, and with Jay Leno having such a huge collection, Clef wanted to speak on that level since he's becoming a car collector.
Went something like this if memory serves me:
Wyclef: Yeah, I just got a McLaren F1 recently...
Jay Leno: Really... I have 3 of them.
