true. both versions have been floating around certain circles(illegally) for a couple weeks. i'm amped for commons new album though. i've loved every album he put out. he's the emcee that sends me back to the lab whenever i hear the new shit. he's my worst enemy and i'm his biggest fan.

i think common had it best on ressurection. that track about hip hop, the second or third on there is nuts. the first time i heard it i had to play it back a few times just to make sure i got what he was saying right. i'll almost always take the classic shit over the now shit tho. that's just me
