what a wigger...

As a white person, hearing a kid like that speak in such a way is embarrasing... I wish people wouldn't force the way they talk.

I think it's cool and even melodious how some black people talk and I like to hear it, but it's just lame when some white dude does it.

The second dude has no rythym...

I dislike that kind of talk regardless of who is speaking.
Everybody should have a large vocabulary.

C'mon dude. That is some dumb shit to be sayin. Like it matters how he speaks. You don't know anything about the cat and you talking ish. Let your beatz do the talking and if you can emcee, bless us with a verse or 2 instead of the negative comments about beatmakerz on da grind, aiiight!

Oh yeah, it's spelled - Rhythm!

For fuck sake's will everyone just chill the fuck out?!? Enough already. If you don't like something/somebody doesn't mean you have to post about it. Sometimes it's good to keep it to yourself.

Ehem!

Well, I got one thing to say for that, DEAL WITH IT! In hip hop you got cats that you may "think act that way," but that's really who they are. And, niether of the cats in the video I watched were bothering me at all. It doesn't help you any bitching about it on a hip hop forum, genious!

For the videos:

I could only watch the first one, second one didn't work..

I liked the beat that cat made on the mpc, the other dudes joint was nice too but not my style.

Good Looks on the vid 50..

Class I only know guys from the east coast, PA, NY etc... the "black" vernacular has always been very interesting because in a lot of ways it tries to sound very smooth, like French. There is a certain part of the throat that stops when you make a hard sound, and like French, a lot of guys I've met who are black speak in a way (obviously because that's how they grew up) that tries to sound very smooth.

Most white guys can't rap simply because we can't speak in a way that prevents hard sounds that stops the flow of air. I'm from Africa, and I've also found that black guys speaking English from many parts of Africa (I'm familiar with mostly Central and Southern parts of the continent), have a very melodious, almost singing way of speaking. I think it's cool, I was not knocking it. I'm knocking white dudes who try hard to immitate it.

I don't know, maybe I haven't gotten around enough but most of the kids from Jersey I've met are Italian and talk like Italian americans with a jersey flavor, not like those kids.

Protege: you call me a cracker. Well, if you're black, would it be ok for me to call you the n word? Probably not, so insult something else. But, just to let you know, unlike quite a few people here, I am comfortable with my race and am not ashamed of being white. If I were black, I'd be proud of being black, but I wouldn't call every white person a cracker who I don't agree with.

I didn't like the first video, since I don't think the beats were good. They didn't really show anything. The second with the big dude was much better, he seems to really know his stuff.

i dont mind if somebody has that "ghetto accent" as it were i just dislike when people have small vocabularies. i personally try to learn new words all the time. being intelligent and looking/sounding intelligent are 2 different things. you could be wicked smart and sound dumb and aslong as you sound dumb people think you are dumb. and id love to see more and more "smart" hip hop people coming up. try and break that mold that if your from the projects or the "ghetto" or whatever, that you are stupid or a thug or whatever.

albiet mainstream hip hop strives on that thug life persona it kinda paints people(mostly blacks at the forefront of the stereotype that all blacks are criminals or drug dealers, and if you dig a lil deeper it just portays that to anybody from a lower class of living), and i dont think thats what we should be doing.

and one the same note, just because you are not black doesnt mean you cant rap or cant "know" hip hop or be a part of it.

it doesnt matter if your from compton or fuckin nebraska. you can do hip hop if its whats truly in your heart.

so people like phv have to stop painting people into stereotypes. you may not realize it but you are doing your very small part to keep racism and stereotypes alive by your comments.

i can twist what you say into "white people are too good to talk black" or a million other scenerios.

so really, watch what you say because you never know how others will interpert what you say.

I'm not trying to stereotype people at all, I was taking that one individual case.

Anyways, I'm not here to start a controversy. I'm also not about any kind of racism. No offense, but I'm from South Africa... I'm white. I have a very good idea about the ugliness of racism. Because of where I am from and how my parents taught me to respect every person unless they don't deserve it, I really have no patience for prejudices based on race. I definately see race as an issue, and to me I like to find the things I like about different races. Obviously every person is an individual, but there are some things about us that make us a group, and one of those groupings is race.

I guess I've just seen enough white kids with sever indentity problems. I don't mean to knock anyone who is white and is really emmersed in hip hop. I can understand talking a certain way if that's all they're around. Just to me, I haven't ever met a kid who talks like that who doesn't quite obviously front big time. Again no disrespect...

I want to battle "OutThere". I think i could shut him down. The first video might not have shown much but it was still cool to see. i love watching other people make their beats and how they do it. If i had the choice i would like the watch just blaze make a beat or premo. but i dont want them stoping and telling me what they are doing while they do it. that lame. you should be able to tell how they are making the beat just buy watching and listening. not them telling you. thats my rant and im sticking to it.
