I like most of what you said except that Saddam made Iraq better for Iraqi people..
Cuz he didnt...lol, ask the Kurds and the Shiites..Or anyone who made him paranoid, or any woman that one of his sons would kidnap rape then cut to bits and feed to their dogs...
Those Iraqis might disagree as I do on that.. But the rest sounds good..

Iraq was a religiously tolerant society, it had the highest number of females in the region in education, to a high standard. Saddam although brutal(he was cia after all), managed to unite the Shiites, Sunnis and Kurds under the united flag of Iraq. Iraq had good hospitals, and good universities, Great Museums. He was an ally of the west. The first gulf war was launched after Saddam was set up, he asked the us if he could invade kuwait as they had been cross drilling into iraq and stealing iraqs oil, the us gave him the go ahead. So he went ahead. Then a princess, yes a princess, faked a scene in a hospital saying iraqi troops came and just left the babies on the floor. Next thing you know its gulf war 1.
Just because you see the world through US media, a terrible source of real knowledge, why are the americans so much like sheep, why do they rush to be patriotic at times of dismay, and then have their patriotism used against them, to guide their opinions and make them choose a certain way before they are even given the choice.
When your bosses are the cia and you cross them, you get paranoid quickly. The cia doesnt hesitate in killing those it disagrees with, there was numerous attempts on saddams life, wouldnt you get paranoid?
I have heard rumours about what the bush's get up to in there spare time, and seen evidence of what other associates of very high members of government have been found guilty of and punished for. Look into the whole larry king paedo ring, that went to the white house, and im talking about the sexual abuse and torture of children, by members of your government. Face the reality, because its a reality. When you are a member of the big boys club, they do these things for fun.

Please dont get me wrong, Im in no way defending Saddam whole heartedly, I agree he was a tyrant. And he ruled with an iron fist, taking out those that disagreed with him. But all the while he was doing this, he had 100% support by the west. It was only after he crossed daddy bush, however he did it, that all the things he did while an ally became news. He was punished for crimes committed while he was an ally. And for crushing a sunni uprising that was started by the americans who promised support for them and then just turned their backs and left the poor sunnis to their horrible fate. As for the gassing of the kurds, that was done with US/UK supplied bioweapons, our leaders at the time they were sold to saddam are as much to blame as saddam himself.
Anyone seen the pic of Rumsfeld shaking hands with saddam? He was the main middleman who sold the weapons to him I beleive. And as Relic said, yes its the same gang that brought us Nam. They beleive in wars without end because they all have stocks in weapons manufacture, and other related stocks, ie steel, leather, etc. If the war ends so does their profit. I was sort of playing devils advocate myself when defending saddam. One thing is certain, Iraq was a much better place before we destroyed what had been acheived there. And lets not forget that iraq is the birthplace of civilisation. The real enemy is those who control the currency. The IRS, big bankers and whatnot that have politicians in there pocket.
