need to creat bassline from orginal song w/ FL Studos 4

i need to know if it is possible to make a beat from orginal song like " New York Minute" using Fl Studio, i want to create a bassline without using synths and stuff like dat

Are you trying to do the bassline externally and import it? Or are you trying to sample it.

... all you need is a mid keyboard and a good ear... it'll take some time, but it's possible, just find the right sounds... I don't really understand the question

you dont have to have a midi keyboard - just some practice - u can create basses with the simsynth, 3xosc and dx10.....and other parts of fruity - its all about learning music and the software

yea what i want to do is something like a kanye west thing with the New York Minute but Fl Studio as complicated as it is, im not very sure how would rip clip i want from the song

What do you mean it wont fit right into FL?

Do you mean how do you open a sample in FL or do you mean that your bass is not at the right key or do you want to bring your bass 'up' more???????

Explain yourself a lil more then you mite find some answers.

If you want to sample a song into FL, all you do is put the chopped portion of the song inside the samples folder. When you save your chopped loop or whatever, save it in...
My Computer>C:/>Program Files>FLStudio>Samples>(create your own folder and save it there)
