I don't know if this can be done, but my problem is this. I have my MV-8000, I have my computer, and I have one set of monitors. I currently have my monitors going into the MV-8000. When I track my beats out on my computer, I then have to unplug my monitors from my MV and plug them into my computer so I can mix my beat. So is there a away I can set it up so I can use my monitors at the same time with my comptuer and MV???????????????

Any Help would be appreciated!

Yes dude it seems to me that you can do what I do , I dont know your set up so surely you have somthing along these lines that will make sense.
I have a digi 001 thats my interface.
I run the stereo outs from my mp into the inputs 1&2 of the digi rack.
I then create a stereo track in PT and assign it to inputs 1&2.
I mash record but NOT play(in PT) and I get sound from the monitors (as they are comming out the back of the rack).
Now do you have anything to accomplish this wiring schematic in any similarity?

SHHHH For Chrissakes dont let Formant hear you say behringer monitors!

heres what you do dude run your mv into the mixer then the mixer into the sound card, out the back of the soundcard should come you monitors.

Monitors go in the out plugs of the sound card.
in fact how big is your mixer because if you have multiple inputs for 1/4 cables then everything should go in the mixer and then the mixer into the soundcard and the soundcard out to the monitors

espically if you have m-audio u can route ur audio via there software control panel(i have the fw 410)

Just have everything into yoru mixer

have your mixer out to your soundcard in's

Have your mointer cables plugged into your soundcard outs...

THen just route the audio or enable direct mointering so that whatever you hear coming in.. goes out as well .. that way you can here whats playing on your mixer and hear whats on your computer.. again the 410 has some type of software mixer thing im pretty sure your soundcard has something simlar to that as well(where you can route the audio)

Are the Truths powered? If not where is the amp? You have a nice sound card so the mixer should be the main router of sound imo.

I come out of my sound card that has several outs and ins into my mixer. I come back out of my mixe into my sound card. Out of my mixer in to my amp and out of my amp to my Behringer Truth B2331P's. I even have my standard computer sound card outs going to my mixer for sampling from the internet. Most sound cards allow you to chose if it's your goto sound card for any given program.

I don't know if that DJ mixer will cut it though. Depends on how many ins, outs and faders you have I guess. Dj mixers may not be adequate for what you're trying to do.

No it is not. I just tried hooking everything up through my Vestax mixer and I am getting no sound from anything.

That's what I thought...you're going to have to cop a dedicate mixer for music production or sound. You may find a half ass way to get by for now but you'll eventually get tired of it. It's been a minute since I've been in the market for a mixer. I still have my Yamaha Pro Mix01. It's more than adequate for what I do and what most of us do. Most features on it I don't even use, compressors, limiters, effects and shit. Sometimes I bring it out to live shows though.....shit's nice.

word, thanks for all the suggestions, guess I need to start saving some money......

Just twerk it the way you've been doing it until you save up the cheddar (Congratz on the home investment by the way). No sense parking a Yugo(cheep mixer) beside that MV8G (Exotic whip). Everything you run you music thru does something to the sound so I wouldn't jeopardize that. Especially on the mxing tip.
