I just got the Truth B2031A studio monitors for christmas. I set them up at my house and everything sounded fine. And i just got back to school and hooked up my equipment and now they are making a loud hmmmmmmmmmmmmm noise. Can anyone offer me some advice on what the problem might be, i've tried everything. THANKS!

what are they sitting on or next to in the new place?

sometimes if speakres are near or sitting on something with an electromagnetic field (a tv) or something like that it can cause a hmmmmmm, thats if the monitors are not shielded

also make sure ur wires are configured the right way or the way u had them before

one more thing, if you have the audio cord thats going to the speakers running parallel to a power cord move it, its best to have them run straight across at a perpendicular angle to lower noise

hope this helps

oh and make sure if you have a turntable mixer and turntables hooked up that they are grounded properly cuz that could also be the problem
