Sonically it sounds really bad tbh, sounds really filtered like the top end has been cut off completely. Just sounds phasey and not good to my ears, I think its down to the quality of the sample, sounds like a bad stem rip.

I hear you; pitching down the sample affected the dynamics somehow. The track sounds better in hi-res (see new Bandcamp link).
