I'm looking to pick one up sometime this week to keep me busy when I'm taking a break from music. Right now I have NBA Shootout 2005 which sucks and I haven't played any other ones so my knowledge is limited. I'm lookin for one with some realistic gameplay. Could anybody recommend one?

You can never go wrong with NBA Live 06' from EA sports. Thats the only basketball title Ive played since EA first came out with Lakers vs. Celtics. Or go to Blockbuster rent some an see which one you like the best.

Yeah '06 looks nice. I'm probably gonna rent it before I actually go out and buy it and see how I like it.
