Sounds like you've got some corrupt drivers! What operating system and what type of controller? Did the controller come with a disc with drivers? Is it powered by usb or external?

Go to add hardware on your computer and see if u see the drivers for your controller. If u see them uninstall them. Then go here http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do...D=3b171c6a3ad63d9dfc5b44f794cfeab2&OS=72#tabs, select the the options that apply to you and download and install the updated drivers.

Some way or another your drivers got deleted or became corrupt. It's a good idea to uninstall and reinstall them from M-Audio's website from time to time anyway.

It's my PC......*sigh*

I tried putting in one of my flash drives....and nothing....and I tried all the ports....It's bringing power to my keyboard...just not recognizing it.

I'll have to reinstall the drivers for the USB...

If u go to Control panel/Device Manager then Universal Serial Bus Controllers do u see exclamation marks beside your USB Root Hubs or anything else under that tab?

L beat me to it, i was gonna advise to do the same thing.
You will also be able to view the name of the damaged driver there as well in order to search for the correct one to download online, however your bootdisc that came with your computer should have all these support files.

No exclamation.... Shows "unknown device' under one of the USB...but there is a ? for "mass storage controller" I'm assuming that's what it is and need to update that driver..

Power down computer and disconnect anything you have connected by way of usb. Power it back up and then look where I told u 2 look and see what's there now. The question mark is most likely not a problem. It's the exclamation marks that usually show somethings wrong. The question mark could be something u disconnected improperly and then plugged back in. In that case the drivers didn't reset and that device is not working properly.

Once again, down load and install the drivers from the site with no usb devices plugged in. Once the driver for you keystudio are installed plug the keystudio in a diff't usb.....not the one that you usually plug it into.

See if that solves it.

Are any devices being recognized thru any of the other usb connections i.e external hard drive etc etc?

Nope.....nothing's connected at all...it just has "unknown device" under the USB section of device manager.
