MV-8000 Sounds not loading???

Ok here is my problem. I have my JV-1010 sound module hooked up to my MV-8000. When I take sounds from my JV and record them into the MV through midi and I turn off everything, then I turn everything back on the same sounds are not loading in either the JV or MV. Do I need to save them in the MV or JV? I just want the same sounds when I turn everything back on again. Any help would be apprechiated! Thanks in advance!

U dont record thru midi grafik. The mv is playing the notes that you assign to it from the JV. So the jv is where the sound should be coming from , not the mv. Midi doesnt not deal with actual audio. It sounds like you need to reassing the sounds or maybe u can save the assignments on the jv.

So there is no way to pick a sound from the JV play it through my M-Audio controller and record into the MV? I just dont know how to save the sounds. I was reading something about a program change on the MV that I need to do after recordsin. I will continue to fuck with it, I am sure I will figure it out. Thanks

Grafik, the mv has direct recording right? u can record it as audio... that way it records the audio and it will play as a seperate track in the MV. btw, finally gave up on fruity?

Yeah I want to record as an audio track, but when I highlight audio track i get no sound. If I am on a midi track I get sound. Attached is a diagram of my setup. Is everything hooked up right. I am new to this hardware stuff. I have had a software setup for the longest time and have just changed.
