lets say i have two different pianos layered, and each of the pianos have their own effects/etc on each of there tracks. is there a way i can run those two tracks into one track while still keeping the two tracks seperate? i'm talking the same way the master track is with all the other tracks, can i have a master track for just 2 seperate tracks all under the master track

i don't have Reason anymore, i reformatted my computer. i'm also very noob to Reason. btw, setting up dual boot with vista and xp is a pain in the ass, i thought it was going to be simple

i did it already lol. i fucked up my partitions and everything and couldn't boot shit, i don't know how i got to work again. then i found some guide online, you gotta open a command line and everything mid-setup, ehh it's retarted. good looking out though

i got some other program from the guide that allowed me to dual boot.

i don't think i'm up to learning reason yet, i think i might get into sonar just for mixing the tracks, i already downloaded it and everything. you got any experience with sonar and if i should get into it?

Not with Sonar. More fluent with PT and Live now. Ohh and Adobe Audition 3. I still think you should have reason just because. Its not that hard to learn. You dont need to know much.

ACT now and get reason with Rewire. at value of $$$$ yours free when you install reason *Cheesy salesman smile*

Yes, you can, EASILY, it's a basic function in the FL mixer... you don't need Reason for that one... it's the function #18.

http://www.flstudio.com/htmlhelp/html/effects_trackswindow_tracktype.htm

So let's say you send the Piano1 in the mixer track #1 and piano2 in the mixer track #2 and you want to have both sent in the mixer track #3....

1 - Select the mixer track #1 in the mixer. The Track Send Enable Switch(TSES) should be pointing down... I think (going by my memory... I'm at work...)
2 - Right-click on the TSES of the mixer track #3... the arrow should light up and point up... and the one on the master should close... Now the sound of mixer track#1 is sent to the mixer track #3...

3 - Do the same with track#2...

I 'm not sure about the right or left click... but it's definitely EASY... you'll figure it out if it's not.

^^^^
1 - If you can do it why not
2 - Flexibility
3 - Cuz you want to have different effects on each sounds,
a) but want to have less tracks on the final mix in a different program
b) but want to also have the same effects at some point...
4 - Cuz you can... Lol
