Multiple Midi Inputs Help

Whats good illmuzik? I just upgraded to FL7 and decided to get the multiple midi inputs going. I have the trigger finger and a basic maudio keyboard. Both get recognized and can play one thing at the same time. Eg: Battery is loaded up and both can play all the samples. But what i want to do is have the trigger finger playing battery and have the keyboard playing boobass or wasp at the same time. Anyone done this and if so can you help me out? Just a Question why would u want this? Are u making music with two people at the same time?

And u can if u select the midi inputs by pressing F 11? then u can select..

Yes

Yeah there are two of us working on music currenty. Well three but the turn tables are not a problem as they just come threw input. As for system settings and selecting the midi that doesnt let you select what midi controls a given divice or vst on the step sequencer. I found a simple workaround is to open up 2 instances of fruity loops one on each monitor (or however you want) and enable a different midi in each one. This will work untill i figure out a better way. Thanks guys. Peace.
