mpd-16 question, please help

this is driving me nuts. how do you assign the mpd slider to a specific knob in reason?

yeah i tried to do the thing on the back of the pads, but it didn't work. anyone had success assigning the slider to specific knobs?

I don't think the slider is can be assigned to a knob, only the pads.

I think you can do that. I think you to have highlight the pitch wheel (it get's a green line around it), and then you move the slider to tell that that's the external remote you want to change the pitch with...I just don't remember the specifics. Check Reason's manuel.

The Mpd slider is for pad settings on the mpd using the software that came with it. The default setting is the pitch shift. Does the mpc have any pitch bend wheel or controller on it, no. You will probably break it, it's not a dj fader. I know the controller but not reason, so if reason can make it do something special, you might have a shot, but it's a long shot.
