thought I'd let everyone know, blem/refurb'd akai MPC500's are going for 540 USD +tax and shipping on akaipro.com.. I remember like a year ago these were MSRP'd at 1200... This seems like the time to cop one, I know I'm going to.

nope. you can cop the faulty ass blue and red ones for about 300, but they suck ass (pads are defective).

the newer black 1ks are 700 and up, anything listed for lower will likely go into a bidding war in the last 20 minutes of the auction.
