mpc2000xl zip drive to external zip on the cpu!!!!

ok...i just got a zip drive for my cpu, i also have one for the mpc....now my songs are saved on the zip disk....how do i bring them up on the cpu.....the only program i have that is a wave editor is acidpro 4.0......can someone help me, cause this is the only possible way i think i can burn to cd................basically i just wanna know how to open the cpu zip disk and open it in acid????..can i do this and how....thanks....holla back sum1

you just do it... look for the zip drive your pc.... tweak them with acid.. or whatever you like using... its actually simple.

You cant open MPC songs on any program on any computer. You can open each sample and tweak them, but thats it. The song on the disk is just instructions that tell the MPC what to play. Its just code, its not a song or "wave" file.

So to record songs from your MPC all you have to do is record the outputs of your MPC to your computer. So you're just playing the song and recording the outputs directly. Then take that wave file and burn it on a audio cd. You can do this on any wave editor or Acid if you want to. Open the wave editor, hit record, make sure the outputs of the MPC are connected to your sound card, then hit play on the MPC.
