... I could sync them, but it wasn't an accurate sync. They operate on 2 different timing codes and AA caused the MPC to skip.

Cubase is an affordable alternative...

You'll need midi cords or a midi interface... I have a usb/midi interface...

hey mik you might want to try cooledit 2000 or an earlier version. I don't use audition because it was changed slightly when it was bought over by adobe. The timing codes are probably the same but it is worth a try. Just by coincidence I was just thinking about this yesterday when i was cutting something up. It was be a very nice, i can't wait till the 1k can timestretch!! it's a hastle to timestretch 10 samples jumping back an forth between the card and computer

yea, ive seen it on the akai page, mpc does not support auditions mtc, it would be toooo nice to work with them 2 hooked up. cool edit had so much potential, itd be the shit with full midi support and a built in sequencer. the wrong company bought it.

well, cubase is ok, but its audition i want to work with because of its easy-to-use waveeditor. imagine: playing the drums on the mpc and just messing around with the samples in the multitracker...

a tear runs my eye... :) peace
