This is a video I documented with my phone and submitted to Akai addressing what I believe to be an old bug that still exists in OS 2.12 in hopes for a fix very soon.

And yet another bug that occurred during the same session as described in the video:

If anyone else has experienced this problem and has a solution or a workaround please don't hesitate to drop your 2 cents in this thread...

Well...I solved my own problem basically with the help of a informative member over at the MPC Forums....

What was happening was I actually had maxed the polyphony without knowing it. Its hard to believe that a span of only 11 tracks can do that but its true. And after a thorough analysis of how things were working together I discovered that its waaay easier to eat up all the 32 available voices then I thought.

So heres a tip to whoever else out there may find this information useful:
Make sure to reduce your stereo samples to mono if there is no need for them to be stereo in the first place such as a bass sample.
This is something I overlooked for a long time. Basically, how it works is every mono signal is a voice, so every stereo signal is two voices. Furthermore, if you stack 4 stereo samples on one pad then your actually using 16 voices. The MPCs maximum polyphony is 32, so you can see how its easy to run into trouble very quickly this way.

Long story short, after some quick editing and reducing my bass sound to a mono sample, the problem was solved.

*Now the mixer issue on the other hand truly is a bug unfortunately.
