Yo--

I have a few questions for anyone who has seen the "making beats with domino" segments. The first is, how does he mix it up after he has created the sequence? In other words, he mixes up where the sample drops and what not just by pushing a button. The second question is how does he get that bass tone. He says something about muffling the sample and it automatically creates a bass tone. Anyone got any ideas, it would be much appreciated.

in the mpc2000xl if you filter almost anything even a snare all the way to 0 or close to it , it makes it sound like a bass sound and how he mixes it up after he created the sequence is not from the push of a button but the turn of a knob...That big circle in the middle of the mpc is can be used to change sequences...You can make a beat and if you want a drop or a total different break make two or more sequences use the cursor to go all the way up and while the sequence is playing just turn the knob right and after the last bar of your sequence it will change right into the next sequence and thus the mystery of his drop his solved
