MPC Question

Yo--

I was wondering if anyone could help me with somethin. After you take the sample of off vinyl and put it into the MPC, how do you spread that sample across the pads with different pitches? I saw Domino do it on that link where you can watch him produce a beat. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated

ok listen carefully......do you see that lil button in the center of the MPC in the middle that says 16 levels?....press it then up top in the menu UR gonna have something like...um...Tuning you might need to toggle...now if you notice if you hit a pad that will change the display....if you choose it will magically be spread across the pads.....this my man is one of the greatest things beside on the fly variations the mpce has...you just need one lil sample of an instrument or whatever now you got a whole octave and more.....lemme know if that works
