you know how I feel about Akai, but that thing will solve a LOT of problems for me. I may have to pick one up.

I'm not really a hardware enthusiast but this device is interesting. The only problem I have with it is the fact that if I bought this one I would have to spend some time learning all of its features :/ But I have to admit that making beats on it looks very simple and intuitive. Thanks for posting it @thedreampolice because I might consider buying it in the future.

Akai's got the new MPC One. I don't know what to make of it though. It looks nice but there's a lack of inputs/outputs maybe?

Overall it looks like a slimmed-down version of the MPC X. Check it:

the CV control is huge for me and the only hardware sequencer that I know of that has that feature.
