What is the cheapest amplifier i can get for my mpc before it connects into my pc?? help maeh

I'm running a spidif out into my pc. Neither the record gain nor the main volume control the volume of the spidif out. So i have to turn it up in my pc and mixer to the point where it's hissing. I only do this when i get something to the point where it's hot an turn it up listen to it properly. I wasn't expecting to find a dedicated mpc amplifer and I should have said that I was using spidif out which would mean that the amp would need to accept spidif. Soooo i doubt i could find an amp like that especially at a low price

I dont know which mpc you have but there is a chance you can turn up your master gain's DB out setting....I have also run into this problem not only mpc but workstations with spdif, if that does not solve your problem you may have to use some software editing tools to bring it to the desired volume by normalizing, maximizing etc...

I used to do the same thing, just turn up the gain in ur editing software after you record the audio

another thing is try to get in the habit of recording from your main stereo outs that way you wont have to do any processing like that and your levels will be good to go

shift+mixer , setup top right turn your dbs up to 12 should help i track from the 2000 using sdif too you shouldn't need an amp you can always normalize the track once recorded becuase your dumping digitally you shouldn't have any line noise problems.
