The funny thing about all of us who make music is the things we over stress(mpc swing or mpc 3000 drums sound vs 2000xl's or mac vs pc or Mpc vs whatever or this or that keybord vs) Dont really matter to the person who is buying the music. I dont hear people who buy music saying "Damn drums just dont hit or sound like they use too in the 90's or how come Dre beats sound wise sound different then Timbaland" What i mean by this is in the music world a 3000 or a Xl is pro gear that means you can make something that you could make money off of with. I dont think the mpc 3000 swing vs the mpc xl will make you anybetter than you are or if the drum sound alone will get your beat played or sold. The same with the debate over Motifs or tritons or pro tools vs this program.......I think if we started to speak more with our music first then find out this or that next you could learn more. Like if someone made a beat that i like i could ask them what they using to get that sound...and if that person knew anything about anything they would say i use this and this but later run it into this and add this.............Do any of yall have a Hd tv yet....shit im still watch movies on vhs...the funny thing is music as far as sound wise cant really get any much better t the point the customer will cares...hell alot of you old school cats love the 90's more than now not to care about the sound really that much...so i know the customer aint look at it any different. So until they change cd's from16 bit to a higher bit...get something that will give you pro sound and bang out!
