motif rack or triton le wrkstn.

I allready have a controller keyboard which i use for my soft syth in cubase (SE..and its great) but I'm ready to go back to hardware for hiphop/rap production. For a grand I can have a motif rack 600+ sounds and great OR a whole workstation Triton LE .......anyone?

motif all the way!!! the sounds in triton le are not as good as those in say the triton studio, yet the motif has sounds as good , if not better than those of higher end tritons.

motif, by FAR. i actually had these two at the same time, and the le was relegated to control duties... the only sounds i used it for after that was pads.......

go with the motif rack. i would actually wait a few months, because i have been hearoing rumors of a motif es rack this summer. there is always the fantom xr module, which i am about to cop in june.

i would just check them all out and decide what you want in sounds. the fantom board has its own compressorson its outputs, supposed to be of pretty good quality as well. dont just go off of aq recomendation... you may love the triton le. i just played with it this weekend, and it was ok still... i just think its a $700 board, thats all.
