My dear friends, thank you very much for the sincere concern!

I'm getting better, recovering slowly but surely. I'm not worry-free, but I believe that time shall heal my wounds. WORD IS LIFE!

The angels have kept me alive and that's a miracle. I was WAY TOO close this time... First, the war I survived and now this... Shit ain't easy to swallow. Makes you think...

Keep up the good work y'all!

Peace & Love,
Wings

Latest News: MY OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE IS: 5\12\06

Due to my injury, I received a medical profile titled as '24'. Meaning, I can't serve anymore & as soon as my medical tests are done, i'll be released from the army. I'll have another medical board next year (May-April). They will decide whether I can serve as army reserve or not (in emergencies). The doctor ordered complete rest for 2 months (at least) & I have to do one more CT test & a hearing test.

I got a call from the army today:

Update: Hearing-Test Results

Just got back from the hearing test. Well, my left ear (the one that didn't get hurt) is 100%, but the right ear (the one i fell on) has a light decline - it's now 96%. It's still within the "normal spectrum" though, so no irreversible damage has been done... That's what up...

One more test left - CT [computerized tomography] - as well as a visit to a 'ear nose & throat' doctor to examine the results of the hearing test.

Peace,
Wings
