I just found out about this. It looks like this guy's project is years in the making and he's basically making it like an SP1200 but also with S900/S950 filters as well.

Saw this when he posted it. Found it pretty cool that he just randomly posted it Youtube. Real dedication too. Same question as everyone else though - what's it going to cost? If he can get the right price bracket he won't be able to produce enough for the demand. Can't deny it looks and sounds amazing!

I remember when there was a buzz about the S2400 and another guy that wanted to do an SP1200 clone in a box but ended up just going software-based. Hopefully this guy can follow through but like you said, it's the price and labor.
