midi Y cable

Anyone know if theres a such thing as a 1 male midi to 2 female midi Y cable? i wanan know cuz i only have 1 midi out on my keyboard and i wanna have 2 so i can route 1 to my mpc and another to my pc.thnx

get 2 midi cables and run 1 from your keyboard to the mpc, then run the other from the mpc to your pc. it will work that way.

but i got some modules in the setup too,plus i wanan be able to make beats without havin the pc on, just wanted it hooked up to the pc as an alternative

most people wouyld use the through, i havent seen a cable like that. you should buy a bunch of em and make one, and see if it works.

you can get a midisport 2x2 usb hook up for your pc for about $40-$60. it has a through button on it so you can turn your pc off and still record even with the cables hooked up. i do this all the time.
