midi and 2000xl

i didnt get a keyboard yet...but when i get one how do i take a recorded sample from the keyboard to the mpc.....does it set it as a sample....or do i just play something and asssign that sound to a pad????...someone explain please...thanks 1....jae bills aka incogneeto

well you can play and assign to pad or you can midi up the keyboard with th mpc and record on your midi channels in the mpc.

when the sounds are recorded on midi channels, how do u save it? save all pgms and sounds?
