Maschine Studio sale

So I got an email that NI is dropping the price on Studio to $799! That's what, $200 off?

Usually when shit like this happens it's because they're getting ready to release something new (and better). So what do you think?

My prediction a while ago was that the next Maschine would have an audio interface in it, something that would be SICK and finally make it that much closer to being a standalone unit. Forget computers (in a sense).

For some reason, I don't know why, but I dont think NI is ever going to put an audio interface in an instrument. Imagine if they charge a stack for the instrument ALONE and a decent interface like a Forte or a Duo costs 500 bucks they would have something that is atleast 1300 dollars. I think the next step for them is to combine the maschine and komplete kontrol keys. I just hope they put some time in getting the komplete kontrol software to actually work tho

Me too, if you don't have want Maschine because it needs to be hooked up to a computer that's cool.

I am all for a separate interface too, especially for where I make my beats (in a bedroom). If you need more of a mobile setup, the interface is better. I am a big computer user and I like having the large screen in front of me when making my music. This is also why the Mikro serves me well.
