you tried out another windows version? could be a faulty copy with missing files. get a better copy of xp or whatever youre using. sometimes faulty ram can cause crashes.
connect your hd to another computer, backup your files, format and reinstall with a different os. when problems still occur youre very likely to have a hardware problem.

alright pretty much

if my computer is off

it will pretend like its about to start up and then it will go to the black screen ask for a recovery or the disk.

and i burned a disk with a windows version but i need

"windows xp 32bit x86"

and i had 64bit x24

but thats what it does..
tried safe mode and it said i needed to isntall the ndtrl file again and it wouldint work

and then i tried to full system restore.

that didint work either.

so whats the deal?

everything is also backed up

I've had this issue before. Windows can replace all the files. If you are familiar with installing windows, boot up from the disk. Let files load and when you get to your partition (C:) Highlight and select fix or something like that. It's self explanatory.

If you've got everything backed up, then you're best just doing a full reformat (doing this will figure out if it's a hardware or software problem)
Stick your windows disk in the drive, turn the pc on; it should say "Press any key to boot from cd" in which case the windows installer will boot and will format your drive for a fresh install of windoes.

If not, when you restart you'll have to go into the bios when you start up and change the boot sequence so the pc boots off the windows cd automatically.

Thats why you should only run things that use Basic. lol

lol....i should have just stuck to updating my computer when it told me too

there are recovery programs so if you reinstall windows on a fresh drive,,,you can go back and retrieve lost files.

i got the majority of it backed up
thats why at this point i dont care how its fixed.
as long as its fixed

ya know what i mean?

if it took yall takin a shit on the mother board or the ram slots and it worked fine i wouldint care. a lil air freshener and some doc mask's never hurt
