If you care to keep the warranty then defenitly remember to take the following into practice

Always discharge static before you touch any parts or install any
components inside the computer. To avoid generating static electricity, do not walk
around the room until you have finished working and closed the computer.
you can also get esd wristbands for that.

^^ also from the manual but the introduction fails to mention you need something like an esd wristband so basically its to late when doing this step by step through the manual (lol).
