Alright, ive been doing a lot of research on this topic but I cant get a definite answer. Looking for a preamp to record my rap vocals. As of now im running a MXL V63m thru my behringer mixer so any preamp is an upgrade! Looking to spend from like $500-$800. My voice is kinda like a Luoe Fiasco pitch (NOT RAP OR FLOW WISE, JUST VOICE TONE) and I usually rap over bright beats with synths. My "studio" is treated pretty well so....

Ive looked at and am considering these:

- ART Voice Channel http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/ART-Voice-Channel-Tube-Mic-Preamp-?sku=180215

- Focusrite isa http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.co...sic-Single-Channel-Mic-Pre-With-DI?sku=180258

- UA-710 http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.co...-and-Solid-State-Mic-Preamp-and-DI?sku=187899

- Daking Mic Pre On http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/Daking-MicPre-One-Preamp?sku=501291

- Joe Meek oneQ http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/Joemeek-OneQ-Mono-EQ-Compressor-Mic-Pre?sku=187020

OR.... would it be better to get something like 4-500 and get a new mic like the sm27? I think my mic is good but....
