Loading sounds on to MPC

I've got rid of the presets and stuff on my MPC and loaded my own new sounds on but the thing is even thought ive got like 30 sounds in the folder when it loads up it will only load like 12 or so of those sounds ! The combined size of all 30 samples is only like 1.1 meg so the MPC should be able to handle it no problem but it will only ever load the same sounds out the ones that are on it ! any ideas ?

i think the problem is where u have the files, that is in what folder. U gotta put your samples not in a subfolder. Mess around with the storage of the files.

yah subfolders wont load on the 1k.. you gotta go to your load screen, press the right arrow cursor botton, and select the folder that contains the samples... if it's still screwy, try to just load some of the samples that are not loading manually, one by one.. if that works, re-organize your sounds
