Live sequencing

Okay, I have a song setup where I have all my patterns exported as wavs and I put them in the NN-XT so I can live sequence my patterns on my keyboard.

I want to know if there is a easier/better way to do this

You tryna do the sequencin from the triton rack? where each key control a different track..

Sounds like a hell of a hassle to take the tracks from a sequencer... then play the tracks on keys. but you can contorl the mixer with ur keys if u create a sequencer track for it if you really wanted

Wow that sounds doable, but for something like that, Fruity loops is about a couple light years ahead if you have your completed loops....also the MV8000 does this flawlessly....I mean not getting off the point but it sounds doable but working with what you have it seems like not too much of a built in function....now I bet you could take your individual patterns in wave....convert with recycle to rex....then use your recycle loop player, with as many instances of the player needed then sequence your patterns like that....I dunno about the imitiation triton plug though, it might work, oh another thought how about using the redrum or one of the other samplers and assign a pattern to individual keys...seems like that would work...I am only speculating but I have used reason a ton of times but never for what you are talking about.

I dont think he usin a triton, i was just comparing this "Live sequencing" with the functionability of the Triton Rack, which seems to do what he is asking.

Seems a lil tedious to me..

@scholar: I'm up in these pm's dont see nothin lmao

I guess I should've mentioned I dont have a triton

All I have is a keystation49e (and a mpd16). Thats all. I dont have the cash more yet (soon)

I probably wouldn't do this anytime soon. But if I did, I wanted to know if theres an easier or better way of doing it.

BTW, doing it with the NN-XT is alright, its just the setup is a little tedious when you have a lot of loops.

^ i think the whole "live sequencing" thing is tedious, especially when ur workin with software that sequences for u.

and no one thought u had a triton, as i stated before i was just comparing ur description of 'live sequencing' with what the triton rack does.

Yea.
But like I said, its pretty tedious with a lot of patterns
Probably wont be doing it agian. lol

Yea...... man.. u been repeatin stuff this whole thread lmfao. I understand its tedious with a lot of patterns. all i said was its tedious PERIOD.

i just cant understand why you'd wanna do that, when u HAVE A SEQUENCER lol.

all good.
