live duo setup

does anybody know how somebody like primo does live shows? Cuz he got vinyl on stage and it looks like hes doin shit live. But shit cant be completely live like that. Do they get vinyl made just for the tour or do they just cut up instrumentals off there album or what?

D.J's usually have what's called a set.. A set is a line up of everything your going to play.. From there you can organize your records how u want them to make it easier.. Usually they work on that set and get down how they will play it all out, before they doi the show.. That's what I used to do and alot of my friends that d.j. clubs and stuff do that.. It common Dj knowlegde..
