I think the interface is everything in what I would like to see in the way of a sampler, functions are definitely something you want but the combination I see that is ideal is about everything in some software..like fruity loops or reason but in an all in one hardware piece with the BEST audio processing internally and very good mixdown capabilities that allow you burn a cd that is mastered just as good as what you can do with say a program like protools or waves audio processors, and I would like a physical mini mixing console on the outside that looks like and equ but it is like a mini 16 track....that would what I would like fugg the onscreen mixer.....find a way to put all of that in a nice sampler, but everything that you would want to touch and have physical control over in a real studio, no mouse clicks and shidd this is production...LOL
