Laying out samples onto keys in FL Studio?

How to lay out samples on to the keyboard after choping samples (wav) in FL Studio?
I'm looking for a free software like Soundforge to chop samples?

2 things:
1- What version of FL Studio are you talking about? Because you can chop samples in the latest version (SLICEX and EDISON in FL9)

2- That keyboard are you talking about? do you want to do mapping? (You could use DirectWave) Are you using a Trigger finger? (FPC) Do you want to put it in a SoundFont file?

Fl slicer is pretty simple to use and lays the sample across the keys for you if you have a midi controller. You shouldn't put the whole song in fl slicer though it works best with smaller sections of the song.

FL Studio has had an audio editor (Edison) included since FL7.

It doesnt matter if you have a trigger finger or a keyboard. you can put the slices on the fpc, because the triggers in the fpc are routed to notes, which you can play with your keyboard.
so all you have to do is add the fpc channel and drag and drop the chopped sample onto the triggers and then just hit the keys on your keyboard.
