Something to keep in mind: I've currently been using FL Studio for awhile now and have gotten used to the program. I do have Reason installed on my laptop and will mess around with it in the near future, but the current laptop I have isn't really music production savvy. It is just a standard Dell Inspiron 15.
I'm looking to get a new laptop for school, music, and maybe some video editing (probably not though). I was thinking of maybe switching over to a Macbook Pro, but heard that FL Studio isn't compatible with it so I would have to switch to Reason. Other than a Macbook Pro what else is out there that would be able to handle music production and also have room for school related programs/activities?
