Anyone in cali see last nights preseason game? Man gp and malone on the same side as shaq is scary. Its going to get even scarier when kobe plays. You know whats funny is that when they were discussing kobe they gave an excuse for why he wasn't playing and they said it was because of his knee. I don't know if this is true but i think they just didn't want to mention the case.

Anyways they looked very good, they are the team to beat. They are going to win it no doubt. :thumb:

yeah they had better anyways..... that last series was pitiful.... but kobe just wasnt the same after his shoulder got jacked up in the minnesota series.....

gp and kobe: starting backcourt, all-star 2004! both all-nba, all-defensive team..... cant wait.

true i know we had our differences but at least we agree on this. Even though they lost tonight it was still preseason. Today they were talking about how they are such a great offensive threat that they completely forgot that they can shut down teams for their defense. Like you said gp and kobe all defensive team , then you have karl malone and shaq down low blocking shots, then you have either rick fox or george playing the small forward.

LEBRON JAMES ALL THE WAY BABY! ha ha carmelo is good though saw him at the long beach state summer pro league. He was a little out of shape but i bet hes in good shape by now. Both are my top picks for getting rookie of the year but ima root for lebron on this one.

I think a lot of people don't know lebron james and only his name. I don't know where a lot of people expect him to score like 28 to 30 pts a game. hes not even a scorer, hes not an allen iverson type player. Hes more in the lines of a magic johnson. thats why everyone always talks about his passing. Thats the player hes always been so don't expect him to be a scorer. I think he should average like 15 pts maybe 20 though. at least 7 assists. With that average his rookie year along with his highlights, will easily win him rookie of the year.
