KRK RP8G2 Rokit G2 8In Powered Studio Monitor

UPS drop'd mine off yesterday! NOW i KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN MISSING!

These monitors sound sweet and powerful at the same time. The low end response is amazing. These and the Peavey 18" sub I got coming Tuesday will having me cheesing for a looooooooooooong time.

Yeah man i cant front on KRKs for the best bang for your buck indeed! Whats nice is they are pretty flat too and they rarely cause ear fatigue. You got the ones i wish i had too! I got the 5s. The 8s are money.

zZounds likes to do specials with certain products on a frequent basis and they tend to throw in free shit with stuff your buying. I copped my MPC from here 2 years ago and they threw in an Akai Gig Bag for free, the bag retails around 100 bucks.
Ive seen the KRKs get sold with free MoPads quite a bit too.

But since your in London it might not be worth it since u gotta pay a grip for shipping.

Congrats LDB,
A good set of monitors is the gift that keeps on giving. Usually when people think gear, they think drum machines and synths, however without a good set of monitors, you're not really getting the true picture of what things sound like!

lmao..I know right! I just started reading up on the krk's and was sold. Right now I got a set of Behringer Truth 2031's and my original Alesis Monitor ones. The truths are going in my entertainment room and my old faithful Alesis are getting bronzed....lmao

My peavey 18" subs are in route....I'm trying to bring the house down!

Naw man, i got the older joints that were released before the G Series...The G series actually has improved imaging and drivers tho but at the same price as the ones i copped a while back so id def look into em if yer looking to cop some monitors too.

I see. The problem here is that I don't know where the hell I can go to hear these monitors in person, so I'm sorta stuck with good reviews as a buying point.

I don't think anyone who does anything in music will have anything negative to say about KRK.....especially the 8's. The construction of these speakers is impeccable. Not only are the drivers, tweets and amps designed for top of the line response, the actual speaker housing is designed with sound acoustics in mind. There not square, there rounded off on the edges. They look cool as hell....

Cell if u need to demo them in person first Guitar Center sells them. Thats where i first heard them in person.
