is ther a way to load rex files in kontakt like you would in NN-XT sampler...wher it puts each part of the sample on a different note on the keyboard ..when I load it kontakt just plays the entire sample and pitches it up or down

yeah add your sample
then click mapping editor

then click map slices to group

U will hav all ur slices mapped out to keys then but make sure u delete the sample behind it (in mapping editor) that overlaps the keys or it will play 2 at once

My kontakt won't open teh rex files.. i mean it sees em in the browers but when i double click em i don't open em as an instrument..

So i need to chop it again in kontakt, and i want to do it in recycle..

Any help?

use kontakt 2 mn, save ur recycle files as rex2 itll open em fine

Now see that's the thing when i try to drag a rex2 file i the mouse cursor changes in a no go sign..

Yo another question! I'm sorry..

How can i set my samples to monophonic ( so the one cuts of the other ) and still let them play to end..

The only way i can do this right now is by activating the release trigger, which is pretty annoying if you ask me..

Must be a way to get around this

I wanted to ask the same question but for a different program. How can I do the same in battery? For example, I want to adjust the lenght for open hat. How can I do this?

u can set it to be cut by a different group, for instance you can set your hh at group 1 and your open hh at 2 and set group 1 to cut off 2.. feel me?
