Keys necessary with MPC?

I've always used the XL for most stuff, but after writting the 1K book I started using the 1000 for a lot of stuff as well - still can't settle on those 1000 pads though. Getting an MPC2500 in a few days, so will no doubt start using this for most things.

Cool. Ima 2k user but i plan on either getting a 1k or a 25k which ever one i can afford at the time. But I dont bang the hell out of pads so a 1k should do me fine.
